LEARN’s Student Achievement and Performance

LEARN Charter Schools provide a compelling choice for parents who want a college preparatory education for their children.  Although we are an elementary school, we consider ourselves a college prep institution, as we believe that the academic foundation and ambition to attend college begins in the very early years of a child’s education.

We achieved a significant rise in our Illinois State Achievement Test (ISAT) scores in 2008.   Our Reading, Math, and Science scores rose 24%, 15%, and 14%, respectively.   Moreover, when compared to public schools within a 1.5 mile radius of LEARN’s Romano Butler Campus, we significantly outperformed the alternatives. 

 
We completed an alumni survey in 2008.  We discovered that 99% of our alumni have graduated from high school and 83% matriculated to college.  We believe that this is the best evidence of our effectiveness.
