LEARN Romano-Butler Campus

 

LEARN Romano Butler opened its doors in Chicago’s North Lawndale community on the west side in 2004 and now proudly serves over 480 scholars in grades pre-kindergarten through 8^th. Our teachers and staff work tirelessly to ensure the success of each individual student. Like all LEARN schools, LEARN Romano Butler operates on an extended school year calendar of 200 days and a 7.5-hour school day.  This format provides greater flexibility in the teaching of academic units and the ability to maneuver students to more appropriate levels as they progress through the curriculum. Our commitment to LEARN’s core values and offering families in the community with a college preparatory elementary education is paramount. We are very proud of the success of our alumni- 99% of all former students go on to graduate from high school and 83% graduate from college. As principal, I look forward to continuing Romano Butler’s tradition of excellence and success in the classroom and beyond.
