Chicago - What if your kids were struggling in school? Some say a good charter school could make a difference. This weekend, you can learn more about charter schools at the fifth annual New Schools Expo. The event is Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Soldier Field.
Phyllis Lockett, president and CEO of new schools for Chicago and Robin Johnson, principal at Learn Romano Butler joined us with more information.
At the New Schools Expo, you can learn about the newest and best charter schools that are tuition free and even apply right on the spot. You will also be able to take part in a town hall discussion with Fox Chicago's own Robin Robinson, and Schools CEO Jean-Claude Brizard.
