LEARN 6 opened its doors in September 2012 and is thrilled to serve North Chicago and military families serving at Naval Station Great Lakes. We are looking forward to providing even more children with the academic foundation and ambition to earn a college degree.

Need directions?
Getting to our campus is a bit complicated because GPS will not lead you here- it will take you to a different location. Therefore, use the GPS location for Great Lakes Metra station. We are one block south on Sheridan road, across the street. The address is 3000 S. Sheridan. Once you see the station keep driving south (in the direction of Lake Bluff) about one block. You will notice a black iron fence with a LEARN North Chicago sign. Turn into the parking lot and follow the signs.

A note for our military families:
We proudly serve military families at Naval Base Great Lakes. At LEARN, we implement programs like Anchored4life in response serving military-connected scholars.
We encourage all interested military families to apply and to enter the lottery even if you are not yet Lake County residents. Residency will be required prior to the first day of student attendance.
